Firefighter carabiners are made from cold forged and heat treated steel. The special offset gate provides a 2.3” gate opening. The firefighter carabiner is large enough to pass over ladder rings, fire escapes and railings. Minimum Break Strength is 9,000 lbs. (40 kN). Working Load Limit is 900 lbs. (4 kN), a 10-to-1 safety factor.
