Kevlar fiber offers outstanding molecular stability, delivering a high modulus of elasticity with minimal creep and stress relaxation, alongside reduced thermal shrinkage at extreme temperatures. It resists acids, alkalis, organic solvents, steam, and seawater damage. With a melting point of 930°F and strength retention up to 500°F, it outperforms steel ropes of similar strength while being lighter. This allows for smaller rope diameters, increasing spool length and significantly lowering transport weight. Sold by the mile, it is urethane coated and suited for winch lines, cable pulling, towing, rigging, stringing, lifting, and marine applications.
