PRODUCT OVERVIEW

SWAGE-IT TOOLS are precision manufactured of steel. Tools are plated for maximum rust protection and are pre-lubed for working ease. They are compact and easy to store. When a copper or zinc plated copper oval sleeve is swaged properly with a "SWAGE-IT tool the fitting will hold the rated strength. When using the 1/16" or 3/64" tool for loop ends one oval sleeve will hold the full strength on 7x7 or 7x19 cable. On 1x19 cable use two sleeves at each end to hold the rate strength. 

A small, single cavity swager with sharp side cutters designed for light duty swaging use on wire rope fittings.

  • WHEN DESIGNING A CABLE ASSEMBLY USE A 5:1 SAFETY FACTOR
  • IF THE BREAKING STRENGTH OF THE CABLE IS 2000 LBS. THEN THE MAXIMUM LOAD TO WHICH THE CABLE IS SUBJECTED SHOULD NEVER EXCEED 400 POUNDS.
